H1N1 Information

Regarding the concerns that have developed regarding the H1N1 (Swine) Flu, we are continuing to monitor the recommendations and warnings from agencies such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization and other health agencies in other countries.  No actions have been taken at this time regarding canceling or postponing IEEE events or meetings.

A full refund of the registration fee, less a $50 processing fee, will be given up until May 29 for anyone who is prevented from attending the conference due to travel restrictions imposed by their organization or government due to influenza epidemic concerns.

All requests for cancellation under this policy MUST be accompanied by a copy of (or online address pointing to) a statement of the travel restriction issued by the relevant organization or government. Failure to include this will result in the request being automatically denied.
